The Red Crescent together with the Republican and Regional AIDS Centers has conducted large-scale events in 2020. HIV testing campaigns were held in the regions, everyone could check their status free of charge and anonymously. Also, online quizzes, drawing contests among schoolchildren and flash mobs were organized.
In Bishkek, on December 1, an online offline event Public Talks was held, in which we discussed such topics as: The epidemiological situation of HIV, Trends in 2020 in HIV prevention, COVID19 and new approaches to working with communities, The future prevention programs, government funding.
In addition, our volunteers participated in the evening show “Vecher trudnogo dnya”, they talked about how information campaigns are conducted in educational institutions and how young people react to the topic of HIV prevention.
