On November 26, an informational clock on HIV prevention was held at the Belarusian State College of Building Materials Industry. Volunteers and staff of the Moscow regional organization of the Belarus Red Cross in Minsk conducted the event. 260 students answered questions on “What I Know About HIV test”.
The thematic film and the presentation, which was prepared by the students themselves on HIV prevention issues, helped to find out new information and correctly answer the test questions.
Also on the eve of World AIDS Day, at the Mogilev High School No. 19, volunteers of the Red Cross of Belarus team held a campaign “Red Ribbon”. The goal is to attract the attention of schoolchildren to the problem of HIV infection, to provide them with information about the ways of its transmission and to call for a tolerant attitude towards people living with HIV infection.
