Background information:
At national level HIV and AIDS and TB as well as Harm Reduction services are provided by the German Health Care System.
German Red Cross is co-founder of German AIDS foundation.
In its international work German Red Cross is mainstreaming HIV and AIDS issues in relief and development projects. Furthermore HIV and AIDS and TB activities are an integral part of community based health programming with our partner NS in the international context.
