Today, the XXII International AIDS Conference (AIDS 2018) started in Amsterdam. The Conference will last until July 27, and will bring together about 18,000 participants from around the world.
EECA is one of the regions of the world where the HIV epidemic continues to increase. One of the goals of AIDS 2018 is to analyze the state of the epidemic and the HIV response in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, with a focus on investments, structural determinants and services.
The Conference will also be attended by representatives of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, Luxembourg RC, Argentina RC, and Netherlands RC.
